Woodward Mill's 7th Annual Science Fair
We are going to the Gwinnett Regional Science and Engineering Fair again this year! It will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016. Our local school fair will be Thursday, January 21, 2016.
The first place winners in Grades 3 through 5 will move on to compete at the county fair!! They will attend the county fair with Mrs. Robb the entire day, and will attend the awards ceremony that evening. How exciting!!
It is EXTREMELY important that we follow the rules for submitting paperwork on time!!! PLEASE READ the Display and Safety Rules (link above) for how your project/experiment needs to be displayed. You can not deviate from these rules. If it doesn't meet the criteria, it will be disqualified from being judged. Basically, no live or dead animals/plants, liquids, powders, plastic animals/plants,etc. If you Google "elementary school science fair projects", you will find more than enough ideas to get you started. You want it to be unique so your project stands out from all the others.
All forms are located here by clicking on the links above. If you are unable to print them, please see Mrs. Robb and I will give you a hard copy. If you are going to enter the Science Fair, I need your Entry Form NO LATER than Friday, December 4th. If you have any questions, please email me or see me before 9:00 a.m. each day during the week. I look forward to seeing many exceptional entries this year!!
